What do I think of the iPhone 8 Plus?
Every year there is continuously new iPhone’s appearing on the market that includes the latest and best technology out there. However, they do come at a price that some people cant afford. The iPhone X, for example. Now you can find a second hand iPhone 8 Plus on the market for a fraction of the price, but should you buy one.
In today’s blog, I am going to talk about why you should consider buying an iPhone 8 Plus.
How is it designed
As you might have already noticed this iPhone has the same design as the bast previous models. Unlike Samsung, how have changed their plan when they have released new models of smartphones. You can look at this as a bad thing, but personally, I really like the design of the iPhone 8 Plus.
Instead of having the aluminium back, this second hand iPhone 8 plus has a glass back. Even though this is a slight change, it really makes a difference. It feels much better and sits much better in your hand. The glass curves at the edges and blends into the metal in between the screen and glass back.
The display
Apple has taken the basics from the iPhone 7 series and then tweaked them to make the iPhone 8 Plus functionalities much better. This brings me onto the display on the iPhone 8 Plus. This second hand iPhone 8 Plus has the same technology as the previous iPhone 7 but now features True Tone technology.
True Tone technology changes the colour temperature of the display depending on the environment in which you’re in. It can reduce the harsh blue tones typical of an LCD when you’re in a softly lit room. Making this better for your vision.
How well does it perform?
The chipset that you find in this second hand iPhone 8 Plus is the A11 Bionic chip. This chipset works with 3GB of RAM, and either comes with 64GB or 256GB of storage to choose from.
This six-core processor is built up of two high-powered cores and then four low-power cores that help when it comes to battery life. No matter what you use this iPhone for you will never find that it lacks speed.
Are the cameras up to standard?
This iPhone 8 Plus has a dual 12-megapixel camera on the back of the phone. Just like on the iPhone 7 Plus, we find a stabilised f/1.8 wide-angle camera and the other is an f/2.8 telephoto camera that allows a 2x zoom without reducing the quality of the image.
Apple has rebuilt the sensor in the camera lens, so it is now faster and more significant to give you better image texture and makes the colours stand out more. For a second hand phone, this can not be easy to find.
Overall
If you so like the traditional iPhone design and like a bigger screen, but don’t want to pay the price of an iPhone X Plus. Then this is the phone for you. There multiple iPhone 8 Plus’s on sale but you have to find the right one for you. The only thing I wish was different was the weight of the phone, but for a larger phone, it is lighter than other models that you find with other phones for sale.
