Each one of our mobile devices are rigorously tested and given one of 5 different grades before being listed for sale. The grades are explained below;
New Boxed: An ‘as new’, boxed product that will arrive in its original packaging. There will be no signs of use and the device will be in perfect working condition.
Refurbished As New Condition or “Like New”: A refurbished and factory restored product that will show no signs of use. Often described as ‘like new’.
Refurbished Excellent Condition or “Grade A”: A premium mobile device that shows no signs of use and is in exceptional working order.
Refurbished Good Condition or “Grade B”: A product in great condition that has suffered superficial and confined damage to the front, back or rear. The product is still in excellent condition and fully functional.
Refurbished Average Condition or “Grade C”: A used device that will show signs of use. This can include mild to moderate damage to the front, rear or sides of the device. Again, this product is fully functional and in fantastic working order.

Unfortunately, we are an online shop only. All of our stock is secured for safety reasons, and is not open to view before purchase.

If you need a different SIM size, please contact your current provider to provide a delivery of a new SIM.

Yes. T-Mobile and Orange SIMs will work with EE locked devices.

If you are currently locked into a contract with a UK provider (e.g EE/Vodafone/O2), it is your responsibility to ensure that you purchase a mobile that is compatible with this provider.
However, if you have selected a SIM free device, any SIM from any provider will work in your mobile.
The SIM type will be listed under the technical specs of each listing on our website, so be sure to check before you buy.

Again, if you purchased an unlocked device from us, you can use any SIM card that is linked to any network provider.

A SIM free device simply means that you will be able to use any UK SIM card. Every unlocked, SIM free device is checked before being sent to its new home, so if you have any issues, please contact our Customer Services team.

If you purchase a network locked device from Used Mobiles 4U, you may be able to have your handset unlocked to any UK network via your current provider. Please contact them for more information.
However, this may not be possible, and Used Mobile 4U accepts no responsibility is this is not a possibility.

Simply, no. We offer SIM only deals, which means that your existing SIM contract will apply to your new handset. We like to keep things simple, so there are no contracts when you buy from us.
Returns

Whilst all our phones are issued via Royal Mail Next day delivery by 1PM we do have a maximum dispatch time of 48 hours. We do however aim to issue all phones same day.
This disptach time for any orders placed from 12pm Friday starts from 9am Monday.
You will receive an email via Royal Mail with tracking information for your order.

The answer to this question falls into two categories: Within 14 days and After 14 days.

If you have received your device within the last 14 days and it arrives or develops a fault within this time, please fill in our online returns form at https://usedmobiles4u.co.uk/returns/

Whenever you purchase a device from us, you are covered by a 6 month warranty. If a fault has occurred within your 6 month warranty, please fill in our online returns form https://usedmobiles4u.co.uk/returns/
Our team will either replace or repair your mobile device, subject to our Returns and Warranty Policies. However, where an exact replacement is not available, we will contact you to discuss the matter.
When you are returning your device to us, please be sure to package it in a way that will minimise damage in transit. Send all accessories, such as chargers, SIM or memory cards back to us. We are however not liable for these products and will not be able to issue a refund for any of these accessories.

Unfortunately, this is not an option. Once an order is completed, we cannot change it.

If, for any reason, you need to return your device due to problems or faults (within a 14 day period), Used Mobiles 4U will cover the cost of postage. To do this, please follow the instructions in the online returns form.
However, if, for any reason, you change your mind during the process, Used Mobiles 4U will not cover the cost of return postage. For more information regarding this, please see out online returns form.
Once your device has been assessed and repaired/ replaced, we will process your request for refund.

Once we have received your mobile device, we will send you confirmation via text or email. Your device will either be repaired or replaced within 14 working days of us receiving it.

Yes. All accessories and the original packaging is required. with your device. Do not send us your SIM card.

At Used Mobiles 4U, we offer all of our customers a 6-month warranty on any mobile device purchased from our website. This warranty takes effect upon dispatch of the item.
