What is the display like?

Apple has given this phone a 4-inch with a Retina display IPS LCD panel, 1136-by-640 resolution at 326 ppi. Which today especially with the new models like the iPhone X, this screen is quite small. However, the display of this phone still looks great because of the technology that is under the aluminium casing. If you only use your phone for very basic things like calling and texting this phone is great for you, but if you use your phone for entertainment you will be more suited to an iPhone 7 or an iPhone 7 Plus.

What is the connectivity like?

 It might come to surprise you but the iPhone 5s connectivity options are extremely good for how old the model is even today. The 5s offers support for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, and Wi-Fi hotspot like most smartphones. However it only has Bluetooth 4.0 but this still works with any modern bluetooth devices. The only thing you need to keep in mind is the range. The 5s is also able to connect to 2G, 3G and 4G networks, so you should be able to connect to the internet wherever you want.

Is the A7 processor good enough?

 The A7 was the world’s first 64-bit processor in a smartphone which when it was released was the fastest smartphone on the market. It’s a 64-bit ARM processor with two cores running at 1.29Ghz. In today’s world you won’t be able to play the hard core games or use the new video apps. If you are only going to use it to browse online and to check emails, the Apple A7 processor shouldnt have any issues doing this at all.

The cameras

The iPhone 5s has a 8MP rear camera which doesn’t really compare to other phones that are on the market. Especially what you can get on the iPhone 7 and the iPhone X with a 12MP triple lens. It does have a True Tone flash which consists of an amber LED and a white LED which allows you to capture better images. The dual flash works with software algorithms in iOS to adjust the flash intensity and color temperature. Meaning the phone knows how much light is needed for the image.

However, like I said before it isn’t the best phone to take pictures from, but if you are looking for a phone that will help you keep in contact with or to check you emails. This is the perfect and cheapest phone for you.
