How do their designs compare?
When these two phones are next to each other the first difference you can notice is the size of the phones. The second hand iPhone 5s has a 4-inch screen whilst the iPhone 6s has a 4.7-inch screen. There is also a difference in weight. The iPhone 5s is lighter than the iPhone 6s but this is mainly because the handset is smaller.
A second hand iPhone 6s also has a curved casing, instead of having edged corners as you see on the iPhone 5s. This makes the phone sit comfortably in your hand and the curved corners are what Apple has chosen to stick with its newer models.
How do the displays hold up?
When you have the specs of the screen side by side there is very little difference between the two. The main difference that you will find on the iPhone 6s is the 3D touch that you find in new iPhone models and in the tacking pad on most Apple Macs. This has eventually become more usefully as app development had approved and adjusted their apps so they can use 3C-Touch.
What are the cameras like?
For a while, Apple used the same 8MP camera. It was first used on the iPhone 4s. The iPhone 6s has been given an upgrade from the iPhone 5s. The iPhone 6s has a 12MP camera on the back of the phone. Having this 12MP camera now gives you 4K video recording which is much better quality than you get in the iPhone 5s.
However, this isn’t really a massive jump because now there are other second hand phones that you can choose from that have better cameras.
How about the performance?
With the performance, there is a big difference. The iPhone 6s does have a 70% better CUP performance than the iPhone 5s. This is fantastic for anyone who streams high-quality videos or plays high-resolution games. The iPhone 6s does outperform the iPhone 5s here but if you are looking for a cheap phone that does the basics then the iPhone 5s is a good choice.
Value for money?
Both phones are fairly cheap and are available in different conditions and colours. You will be able to find either phone at a very cheap price. However is it worth paying this small amount of money for any one of these phones?
Yes it is perfect for anyone who is looking for a cheaper alternative or even a second phone that is disposable. They are perfect for anyone who is going to a festival and doesn’t want to risk losing or damaging their phone. These phones are also still being supported by Apple’s latest iOS system. So you wont feel like you are dated when it comes to the operating system.
