In today’s blog, I am going to review the iPhone 7 and see if you should still buy one instead of spending more money on a more expensive phone.

What has changed with the iPhone 7 design?

When the iPhone 7 was first released the biggest changes that shocked everyone was the removal of the headphone jack. This was a huge decision by Apple because you wouldn’t be able to use your earphones unless you have Bluetooth earphones. They have done this for two main reasons. The first reason is to make room for a bigger battery. The second reason is to make the phone more water-resistant.

Apple, however, has used the exact same design from the previous model of the iPhone, making this a well designed second hand phone. The screen is the exact same size as the previous two models and also has the Touch Screen technology instead of the button.

How well does the screen do?

Comparing the iPhone 6s to the iPhone 7 you are able to see that the screen is 25% brighter. When it does compare to other more expensive second hand phones it doesn’t have the best resolution. However, I have been using this phone for a few years now and I have never had a problem with the performance of this screen.

Just like the previous model you will be able to find 3D Technology. You are now able to do more features due to the most recent update with iOS.

What is the performance like?

On the iPhone 7, you are able to find that this smartphone contains the A10 Fusion Chip, which was the biggest flagship on the market at the time of its release. This Flagship has a quad-core processor which have separate duties depending on how you are using the phone. Two of the cores function only when you are using the full power of the phone, making the battery of the phone work more sufficiently.

Anything that you use this phone for, you won’t find that it struggles to do. You are able to play high-performance games and watch any video with excellent quality. For a cheap second hand phone this is a great flagship to have in a phone

How good is the battery?

The battery has improved from the iPhone 6s because of the extra space that has been created. The phone does charge alot quicker when the phone has died but when it comes to topping up the charge of the phone it does take longer to charge. The more space on the battery has also come from the four core processor allowing only two to function for basic activities. The iPhone 7 is one of the best second hand phones that has this type of battery life.
