Huawei P20 and P30 series feature comparison
The Huawei P series is a line of smartphones which are manufactures by the Huawei smartphone giant stationed in China and powered by the Android Operating System. Despite the recent company\’s predicament which has seen it blacklisted from markets such as the United States as well as withdrawal of support by various cooperation\’s. The company has continued to work on and release new technology in the markets for their customers. The P10 was unveiled in the markets in February 2017, and since then work has been put in by the company to improve on this product up to the latest arrival in the market which is the P30 on the 16th of April 2019. Some of the phones in the P series include the Huawei P30, Huawei P30 Pro, Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Pro for sale among others. Certain improvement in features between the latest P30 and its P20 predecessor includes features such as;
Cameras
The P20 back camera came with the other hand, a dual Leica camera arrangement of a 12 and 20 megapixel RGB and monochrome sensors respectively. On the Huawei P20 Pro for sale in the market had a three Leica camera arrangement comprised of a 40,20 and 8 megapixels with their respective RGB, monochrome and the 3x optical zoom sensors. Whereas the P30 has a series of a triple Leica camera arrangement which is improved from the P20 with 40,16 and 8 megapixels main, wide and zoom sensors respectively with 3x for the optical zoom and a digital zoom of up to 30x. Meanwhile P30 Pro has 40, 20 and 8 megapixels of their main, ultra wide and zoom sensors offering up to 5x for the optical zoom and digital zoom 50x.
Hardware
Both the P20 pro and P20 are powered by the Kirin 970 chipset each having an internal memory of 128GB which cannot be expanded via SD cards. The difference of the two come with their ram and battery size where the P20 pro is superior with a 6GB ram and 4000mAh battery compared to the P20s 4GB and 3320mAh battery. Additionally, neither of these phones supports wireless charging but have a fast charging function. The new P30 and P30 pro run on an improved Kirin 980 chipset boosting both the speed and power compared to the P20 series. The P30 comes with a 6GB RAM, 128GB expandable internal memory and 4200mAh battery which is an upgrade from the P20. Meanwhile, the P30 pro has a wireless charging feature and an 8GB RAM, internal storage up to 512GB and 4200mAh battery.
Design
As far as design is concerned, the P20 and Huawei P20 Pro for sale have similar designs with an in-glass fingerprint sensor at the bottom of its display and the top a notch with glass rears. Both have flat screens and display of 5.8 inches for the P20 and 6.1 inches for the P20 Pro. The P30 and P30 Pro, on the other hand, have a reduced notch at the top in comparison to the P20 series and an optical in-screen fingerprint sensor for both. The P30 Pro offers a 6.47-inch curved screen display while the P30 has a flat one with a size of 6.1 inches.
