which was a big jump from the previous iPhone. This was the iPhone 5s which only had a 4” screen. The screen also got bigger when the iPhone 6s came out putting the screen size to 5.5”.

In the first 3 months, Apple sold 74 million devices, which was 40% more than the previous iPhone 5s.

Screen size

The 4.7” screen is what I think the perfect size screen for most people. Its not too small and isn’t too large either. It was perfect for every one to, scroll on social media, watch videos and for general day to day use. Apple noticed this and kept the same size screen for it future generations of iPhones. These include the iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, iPhone 7 and the iPhone 8. So clearly Apple noticed that this screen size was perfect for its products. Being the oldest model of the iPhone with this size screen it is also the most affordable.

Can you use it for day to day use

When the iPhone 6 came out, it was installed with the A8 chip which was running faster than the A7. You would of found this in the iPhone 5s. Whilst also running faster than the iPhone 5 it was only using half the power than the previous chip.

The iPhone 6 will easily do the basics, such as calling, texting, sending emails, browsing on the internet and using FaceTime. The A7 chip doesn’t work well when it is faced with games that need a bigger processor. The main thing about this phone is that it does the basics.

Camera quality

The camera is one of the main features that Apple and any other smartphone company upgrade every time a new model comes out and is sold to the public. This is because of how many people take pictures and post them straight to social media. However this is no the best camera that Apple has put on one of its smart phones. The camera is a 8-megapixel iSight camera that does deliver sharper images and better low-light performance than the previous camera that was on the back of the iPhone 5s.

Applications

Personally I think that Apple has the best range of applications that are currently on the market. This is because Apple says that they have an app for at least anything and everything that you could think of. The iPhone 6 does have them all as well but there are some limitations. Like I said before this iPhone only has a A8 chip which is better than the previous iPhone but, if you come across any gaming apps that require a better processor chip, you wont get the same gaming experience than you would if you bought a new generation of the iPhone.
